V. lamellata var. boxalii

Pale clear yellow of the petals and dorsal sepal is contrasted with the lateral sepals, which are boldly marked with vertical bars of cinnamon red on their outer edges. The lip, in contrast, is solid rosy violet. Occasionally in some cultivars, pale marks of cinnamon red are present at the apices of the dorsal
